Inputs

NameTypeDescription
CompanystockfundamentalIssuer to pull SEC EDGAR quarterly fundamentals for. Select the same company on every Stock node wired into one computation - mixing issuers produces meaningless results.
ProviderfilingsproviderThe provider this node reads from. Offered only when the feed has more than one.
WindowpublishwindowPublication cadence of the selected Stock Balance Sheet series. Pinned by the symbol — each metric is published on exactly one schedule.

Outputs

NameTypeDescription
Total AssetsfloatarrayTotal assets as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap Assets). A point-in-time balance-sheet figure, not a trailing-twelve-month aggregate.
Current AssetsfloatarrayTotal current assets as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap AssetsCurrent). A point-in-time balance-sheet figure.
InventoryfloatarrayInventory, net, as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap InventoryNet). IonQ first tags it at its 2024 year-end. A point-in-time balance-sheet figure.
Current LiabilitiesfloatarrayTotal current liabilities as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap LiabilitiesCurrent). A point-in-time balance-sheet figure.
Total LiabilitiesfloatarrayTotal liabilities as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap Liabilities where tagged, else derived as total liabilities-and-equity minus noncontrolling-interest-inclusive stockholders equity — Amazon and Coca-Cola). Using parent-only equity for Coca-Cola would overstate this figure by up to $2.0B; the NCI-inclusive derivation avoids that. A point-in-time balance-sheet figure.
Long-Term DebtfloatarrayLong-term debt as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap LongTermDebtNoncurrent, falling back to LongTermDebtAndCapitalLeaseObligations, then LongTermDebt, preferring whichever concept is tagged for each instant). Not published for Ford, whose filings do not tag a usable long-term-debt concept, or for IonQ, which carries no long-term debt. A point-in-time balance-sheet figure.
Retained EarningsfloatarrayRetained earnings (accumulated deficit) as of the most recent quarter-end, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap RetainedEarningsAccumulatedDeficit). Legitimately negative for issuers with accumulated deficits — the value passes through unmodified. A point-in-time balance-sheet figure.

Absolute-dollar balance-sheet positions from SEC EDGAR quarterly filings, every one a snapshot as of the most recent quarter-end: assets, liabilities, inventory, long-term debt, and retained earnings.

This node is one of three views over the same EDGAR quarterly filings, split by what the numbers are: quarter-end dollar positions here, per-share figures on Stock: Fundamentals, TTM dollar flows on Stock: Income and Cash Flow (TTM). Pick the same company on each node you use.

Overview

Every output is a point-in-time instant — the balance as of the quarter's closing date, never annualized, never rolled up:

Why this matters: balance-sheet positions carry solvency and liquidity — the current ratio, leverage, working capital, and the balance-sheet inputs of the Altman and Piotroski composite scores.

  • Update cadence: quarterly (1q), filing-driven — a new datapoint lands when the company files, typically 30–45 days after quarter end. Treat the latest 1–2 quarters as provisional until a filing exists.
  • Coverage: the same 45 issuers as Stock: Fundamentals. Not every issuer produces every metric — see Coverage by Issuer.
  • History: back to ~2009 (SEC XBRL mandate), later for younger registrants — see Coverage by Issuer. Values are first-filed, never restated (see Stock: Fundamentals for the full restatements policy).
  • Source: SEC EDGAR (public domain).

Coverage by Issuer

  • NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, TSLA, KO, AMAT, AMD, CAT, COST, CSCO, CVX, INTC, JNJ, LLY, LRCX, MU, QCOM, STX, WDC, WMT — all seven metrics; ABBV from Q4 2012, AVGO from Q3 2017, BE from Q4 2017, DELL from Q4 2015, GOOGL from Q4 2014, MRVL from Q4 2020, SNDK from Q2 2024.
  • UNH — all seven; inv from Q4 2021, the first time UnitedHealth tags inventory.
  • NFLX, V, META (from Q4 2011), NOW (from Q4 2011), COIN (from Q4 2020), CRWV (from Q4 2024) — all except inv (none tags inventory).
  • MSTR — all except inv; ltd from Q4 2020, when Strategy issued its first convertible notes.
  • IREN (from Q2 2024) — all except inv; ltd from Q2 2025.
  • NBIS (from fiscal 2024, annual reports only) — all except inv; ltd from fiscal 2025.
  • ORCL — all except inv (not tagged after fiscal 2025) and ltd (Oracle tags its debt under none of the three long-term-debt concepts).
  • PLTR (from Q4 2019) — all except inv and ltd (no long-term debt tagged since 2021).
  • HOOD (from Q4 2020) — all except inv and ltd.
  • BAC — ta, tl, re, ltd; JPM — ta, tl, re. Banks present unclassified balance sheets (no current/noncurrent split) and carry no inventory; JPM stopped tagging long-term debt in 2014.
  • F — all except ltd (Ford's filings do not tag a usable long-term-debt concept).
  • IONQ — all except ltd (IonQ carries no long-term debt), from its first post-merger quarter, Q3 2021, with inv from its 2024 year-end, the first time IonQ tags inventory.

Derivation caveats

  • Total liabilities for Amazon, Coca-Cola, AbbVie, AMD, Intel, Eli Lilly, Oracle and Walmart is derived (LiabilitiesAndStockholdersEquity − noncontrolling-interest-inclusive equity) since none tags Liabilities directly. The NCI-inclusive subtrahend matters: parent-only equity would overstate Coca-Cola's liabilities by up to $2.0B.
  • Long-term debt prefers whichever of its three concepts is tagged for each instant — Coca-Cola hands off between concepts around 2024 and the series spans the seam continuously.
  • Retained earnings passes negative values through unmodified — an accumulated deficit is real data, not an error.
