Revenue per Share (TTM)floatarrayTrailing-twelve-month revenue per diluted share, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap RevenueFromContractWithCustomerExcludingAssessedTax, falling back to Revenues, SalesRevenueNet, then SalesRevenueGoodsNet, divided by diluted weighted-average shares outstanding).
Book Value per Share (Quarter-End)floatarrayMost recent quarter-end book value (total stockholders equity) per share outstanding, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap StockholdersEquity divided by the shares outstanding at the balance-sheet date: us-gaap CommonStockSharesOutstanding, else the cover-page dei EntityCommonStockSharesOutstanding). A point-in-time balance-sheet figure, not a trailing-twelve-month aggregate.
Diluted Weighted-Avg Shares (Reported Quarter)floatarrayDiluted weighted-average common shares outstanding for the reporting period, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap WeightedAverageNumberOfDilutedSharesOutstanding, falling back to WeightedAverageNumberOfSharesOutstandingBasic, then WeightedAverageNumberOfShareOutstandingBasicAndDiluted).
Dividends per Share Declared (TTM)floatarrayTrailing-twelve-month dividends per share on a declared basis, assembled from SEC filings (us-gaap CommonStockDividendsPerShareDeclared) and normalized for stock splits (NVIDIA's 10-for-1 split and Apple's 4-for-1 and 7-for-1 splits all appear in the raw filing payloads — normalization to a single basis is mandatory, not optional). Not published for issuers that have never declared a per-share dividend (Amazon, Tesla, IonQ). Cadence degrades to roughly one datapoint per year for Coca-Cola between 2019 and 2022, and roughly two per year for Ford — both reflect the issuer's actual declaration frequency, not a gap in ingestion.

Per-share SEC EDGAR quarterly figures — EPS, revenue per share, book value per share, share count, and dividends per share — the denominator side of every price ratio.

This node is one of three views over the same EDGAR quarterly filings, split by what the numbers are: per-share figures here, absolute trailing-twelve-month dollar flows on Stock: Income and Cash Flow (TTM), and quarter-end dollar positions on Stock: Balance Sheet (Quarter-End). Pick the same company on each node you use — they share the underlying data but each node selects its issuer independently.

Overview

Five per-share metrics per issuer, assembled directly from SEC XBRL filings (10-Q / 10-K):

  • eps — Trailing-twelve-month diluted earnings per share
  • rps — Trailing-twelve-month revenue per diluted share
  • bvps — Book value (total stockholders' equity) per share outstanding, most recent quarter-end
  • shr — Diluted weighted-average shares outstanding for the reporting period
  • dps — Trailing-twelve-month dividends per share, declared basis, split-normalized

Why this matters: per-share figures are what price divides against. Wired alongside a price series they turn a raw price into a comparable signal — is this company cheap relative to its own history or its earnings power. Fundamentals update once per quarter with an inherent reporting lag: the node is a building block, not a ratio — you compose the ratio yourself with Divide/Multiply nodes.

  • Update cadence: quarterly (1q), keyed to the calendar quarter of the fiscal period the filing covers.
  • Coverage: 45 issuers — NVIDIA (NVDA), Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon (AMZN), Tesla (TSLA), IonQ (IONQ), Micron (MU), Sandisk (SNDK), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Meta (META), Alphabet (GOOGL), Broadcom (AVGO), Intel (INTC), Palantir (PLTR), Oracle (ORCL), Marvell (MRVL), Netflix (NFLX), Eli Lilly (LLY), Applied Materials (AMAT), Strategy (MSTR), Western Digital (WDC), JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Nebius (NBIS), Walmart (WMT), Robinhood (HOOD), CoreWeave (CRWV), Lam Research (LRCX), UnitedHealth (UNH), Seagate (STX), Qualcomm (QCOM), Bloom Energy (BE), Visa (V), Dell (DELL), Costco (COST), ServiceNow (NOW), Caterpillar (CAT), Coinbase (COIN), Cisco (CSCO), IREN (IREN), Bank of America (BAC), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Chevron (CVX), AbbVie (ABBV), Coca-Cola (KO), Ford (F). Not every issuer produces every metric — see Coverage by Issuer.
  • History: back to ~2009 (SEC XBRL mandate for large accelerated filers), later for younger registrants — see Coverage by Issuer.

Values are point-in-time as first filed (see Restatements below) — always cross-check against the primary filing on EDGAR before making decisions.

Coverage by Issuer

A metric is only listed for an issuer that can actually produce it, so a missing datapoint always means "not applicable to this issuer," never a silent gap:

  • NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, KO, ABBV, AMAT, BAC, CAT, COST, CSCO, JNJ, JPM, LLY, LRCX, ORCL, QCOM, STX, UNH, WDC, WMT — all five metrics. JPM has tagged revenue only in its annual reports since 2019, so its rps steps once a year.
  • AVGO (from Q3 2016) — all five metrics.
  • AMZN, TSLA, AMD, NFLX, PLTR (from Q4 2018), BE (from Q4 2016), NOW (from Q2 2010) — all except dps (none has ever declared a per-share dividend).
  • INTC — all except dps: Intel suspended its dividend in 2024, and a trailing figure from its last payments would read as current.
  • MU — all five; dps from Q3 2022, the first trailing year of the dividend it began in 2021.
  • CVX — all five; dps from Q1 2020.
  • DELL (from Q1 2015) — all five; eps from Q1 2020, dps from Q1 2023, the first trailing year of the dividend it began in 2022.
  • GOOGL (from Q4 2014, Alphabet's first quarters as the registrant) — all five; rps and shr from Q4 2022, dps from Q2 2025, the first trailing year of the dividend it began in 2024.
  • META (from Q4 2010) — all except bvps (Meta reports shares outstanding only by class); dps from Q1 2025, the first trailing year of the dividend it began in 2024.
  • MSTR — eps, rps, shr: Strategy reports shares outstanding only by class and has never declared a dividend.
  • MRVL — all five from Q4 2020, the earliest quarter its current registrant, Marvell Technology, Inc., reports; shr from Q4 2019.
  • COIN, HOOD — eps, rps, shr from Q4 2020 (shr from Q4 2019); COIN's bvps from Q4 2024. HOOD stopped tagging shares outstanding in 2021, so it publishes no bvps. Neither has declared a dividend.
  • SNDK — eps, rps, shr from Q2 2024, its pre-spin-off comparatives (shr from Q2 2023); bvps from Q1 2025; no dividend.
  • CRWV — eps, rps from Q4 2024 (shr from Q4 2023); no bvps (shares outstanding reported only by class); dps is the $0 it declares, from Q4 2025.
  • IREN — eps, rps, dps from Q2 2024, the earliest year its US GAAP filings cover (shr from Q2 2023); bvps from Q3 2025; dps is the $0 it declares.
  • NBIS — eps, rps, bvps, shr from fiscal 2024, the first Nebius year; earlier years are Yandex's. Nebius files annual reports (20-F) only, so each metric steps once a year. No dividend.
  • V — dps only: Visa reports earnings and share counts only by class (A, B, C), so no per-share metric on a single basis exists.
  • F — all except bvps. dps arrives roughly twice a year, reflecting Ford's actual declaration frequency.
  • IONQ — all except dps (IonQ has never declared a dividend). History starts at its first post-merger quarter, Q3 2021: earlier quarters are the dMY Technology Group III blank-check shell's, not IonQ's. The first rps point is Q4 2021, the first quarter whose trailing-twelve-month revenue inputs exist.

From Filing to Value

Each metric is a scalar per quarter, not a continuous series — the node emits one new datapoint when a company files, not on a fixed calendar tick.

flowchart LR
    A[Company Fiscal Quarter Ends] --> B[10-Q / 10-K Prepared]
    B --> C[Filed with SEC EDGAR]
    C --> D[XBRL us-gaap Facts Extracted]
    D --> E[Concept Fallback Chain Applied]
    E --> F[Quarterly Datapoint Published]

A quarter's value becomes final only when the company actually files — typically 30–45 days after the quarter ends. Until the filing lands, that quarter has no value yet; naive backtests must respect the filing lag or they leak future information. Treat the most recent 1–2 quarters as provisional until a filing exists for them.

Concept fallbacks (not every filer tags every concept identically):

  • eps: EarningsPerShareDiluted → EarningsPerShareBasic → EarningsPerShareBasicAndDiluted
  • rps: revenue (RevenueFromContractWithCustomerExcludingAssessedTax → Revenues → SalesRevenueNet → SalesRevenueGoodsNet) divided by the shr count
  • bvps: StockholdersEquity divided by the shares outstanding at the balance-sheet date, CommonStockSharesOutstanding → the cover page's dei:EntityCommonStockSharesOutstanding
  • shr: WeightedAverageNumberOfDilutedSharesOutstanding → WeightedAverageNumberOfSharesOutstandingBasic → WeightedAverageNumberOfShareOutstandingBasicAndDiluted
  • dps: CommonStockDividendsPerShareDeclared, then normalized onto a single split basis — raw filings can carry multiple per-share bases across a stock split

Building Ratios: Wire Price In

Wire outputs into Divide/Multiply nodes alongside the Stock: Price node. Coverage does not fully overlap: Ford (F) carries fundamentals but no Stock: Price series yet, while Stock: Price serves ten tickers this source does not — Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), whose per-share facts are per Class A share; TSMC (TSM) and ASML Holding (ASML), which file in IFRS and in euros; SK hynix (SKHY), which files no XBRL statements; SpaceX (SPCX), too new for a trailing-twelve-month figure; ExxonMobil (XOM), whose ticker moved to a new holding company in 2026; and the gold and silver ETFs GLD, IAU, SLV and SIVR, bullion trusts with no earnings:

P/Sprice / rpsDivide(price, rps)
P/Bprice / bvpsDivide(price, bvps)
Earnings Yieldeps / priceDivide(eps, price)
Dividend Yielddps / priceDivide(dps, price)

Because price updates far more often than fundamentals, the ratio series holds the last known quarterly fundamental constant between filings and only steps when a new one lands — expected behaviour, not a bug.

  • Stock: Income and Cash Flow (TTM) — absolute dollar flows: gross profit, operating income, net income, operating cash flow, capex.
  • Stock: Balance Sheet (Quarter-End) — absolute dollar positions: assets, liabilities, inventory, long-term debt, retained earnings.

Four ready-made composite scores consume the EDGAR family — each documents its exact wiring:

Restatements Policy

Companies occasionally restate prior-period figures. This source publishes first-filed values only — the number as originally reported, never a later-restated figure retroactively applied. This keeps backtests point-in-time honest: a strategy replayed today sees exactly what a trader would have seen at the time. If you need the restated view, cross-reference the issuer's subsequent filings on EDGAR.

Practical Notes

  • Per-share metrics need one company-wide share count. Issuers that report shares only by class publish no bvps (META, MSTR, CRWV) or no per-share metric at all (V), and Berkshire Hathaway's per-share facts are per Class A share, so it is not served.
  • A metric absent for a given issuer is a deliberate omission, not a fetch failure.
  • Backfill before ~2009 is unavailable (SEC XBRL mandate start); earlier fundamentals exist only in unstructured filing text.
  • New quarters arrive irregularly (filing-driven) — gate downstream logic on the datapoint actually changing, not on a fixed tick.
